Many of our members are involved in other organizations, and we are invited to attend / perform at their events. Founded in 2012, this 50+ Voice Ensemble is celebrated for their musicianship, creative programming and community outreach, The CT Imperial Court is proud to partner with them as a reign beneficiary for Reign XXVII, and proud to have them as “Their Graces, the Melody Making Brothers for Life”

Under the Leadership of Artistic Director Christopher Clark & Executive Director Robert Reader, The HGMC Sings a wide range of music as a catalyst to Inspire, Impact and Enrich the lives of its members, its patrons and its community

The HGMC recognizes the sociopolitical statement inherent in being an openly gay organization and, as such, representatives of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to our concerts we represent the LGBTQ+ community through partnerships with other gay and gay-affirming organizations, outreach within our community and beyond, and participation and performances at pride events, cultural celebrations, civic programs, sporting events and other special occasions. The Mission of The Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus is to use music as a catalyst to inspire, impact, and enrich the lives of our members, patrons, and the community. Their Visions is to be one of the premier performing arts organizations in New England.

Spring Concert: Diva Devotion!

What a gift it is to do what I love, surrounded by such a joyous community 🤍

Performing with the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus was such an incredible experience, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share music alongside such talented individuals.

To anyone walking through their recovery journey right now, let this be your reminder that healing is possible. With hard work, dedication, and faith in yourself, anything is possible. There were moments I never thought I’d be able to stand on a stage again, and now I get to live out my dreams one performance at a time.

A special thank you to every single person behind the scenes who made this concert even more special. It truly takes a village, and I feel so blessed to have such a loving and caring one behind me.

Thank you again to the chorus for such a special opportunity. Same time next year? ✨
